How should I prepare for moving state-to-state with 3 1/2 toddler 18month baby? moving from 4 bedroom house to 2 bedroom apartment in manhattan?
What are some tips to make the journey safer, smoother, easier, ect? Any tips on saving money on the road-trip as well? Any advice will be more than appreciated. Iam also wondering if would be worth hiring a moving company?? any experience…
To avoid the keos maybe my husband should move a week or 2 early to make the house ready for us so I can fligth there with our kids.? any opinions?

Yes, yes, have your husband go first while you stay with family.
Then just take the kids by plane or even greyhound with just a day or two supplies. Formula, diapers and etc are difficult to manage while driving, not to mention one carseat milit in an uhaul if two adults are there. With kids that age, I would recommend taking everything you can. Having familiar surroundings (toys, furniture, etc) will keep the kids from freaking out at the new place.
